Watts Basketball Sweet Stoke Shooting Clinic

Led by Player Development Specialist, Donald Watts

Overview: The Sweet Stroke Shooting Clinic is a shooting program developed and led by former Washington Husky Donald Watts. The purpose of the Sweet Stroke shooting camp is to give competitive basketball players an in-depth understanding of the art and science of shooting and the lifestyle required to become a pure shooter. The content of this clinic is based on the decades of experience Donald has had learning from and training with some of the best pure shooters in the world including Ray Allen, “Downtown” Freddy Brown, and Dale Ellis.

Program Specifics:

The Watts Basketball Sweet Stroke shooting program is a shot making system where players will learn how to perfect their shooting technique, create quality shots, and learn the difference between good and bad shot based on their own skill set. All aspects of shooting will be emphasized including shooting off the dribble and off screens, using pump fakes, pivoting, and using proper footwork which is the foundation of proper shooting form. Other aspects of our shooting system include speeding up a shooter’s release, creating separation from the defender, and shooting under pressure.
